A Practice Built on Patience and Precision

We focus on one area of law so that we can do it well. Pension protection matters require careful reading and a calm hand. That is what we provide.

Our Story

How Thida Niti Came to Be

Thida Niti was established in Phuket with a specific purpose: to provide reliable, accessible legal support to individuals dealing with pension-related questions and disputes. The practice grew from the observation that people approaching pension age — or those managing claims on behalf of others — often encounter processes that are opaque, slow, and difficult to navigate without professional help.

Our name reflects our commitment. "Thida" carries a meaning of guardianship and care; "Niti" refers to law, rules, and proper order. Together they describe what we do: we stand alongside clients as they work through a process that matters deeply to their future security.

We are a small, focused practice based in Thalang Road, Phuket. We serve clients across the province and, where the matter allows, by remote consultation for those further afield. Our work is entirely within the field of pension protection, which means every case we take on sits within our core knowledge.

Our Mission

What We Are Here to Do

Fairness in Every Engagement

We do not inflate expectations. If the position is uncertain, we say so. If a claim looks solid, we will tell you that too. Honest assessment is central to how we work.

Transparency at Every Stage

Costs are agreed before any work begins. Progress is communicated in plain language. You will not find yourself wondering what is happening with your matter.

Support Without Pressure

We make time for questions and explain each step before it happens. The decision to proceed always rests with the client.

Thida Niti operates as a registered legal practice in accordance with Thai Bar Association requirements and local Phuket provincial regulations.

Client Confidentiality

All client information is held in strict confidence. Documents are stored securely and access is limited to those directly involved in the matter.

Cost Transparency

A written cost outline is provided before each phase of work begins. No charge is incurred without prior agreement. Clients retain full control at every decision point.

Communication Standards

Written updates are provided at each material stage. Telephone and email enquiries receive a response within one working day.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Before accepting any new matter, we review for potential conflicts. Where a conflict exists, we will not act and will advise the client accordingly.

Our Approach to Pension Law

Depth of Knowledge in a Specific Field

Pension matters in Thailand sit at the intersection of employment law, social security regulations, and civil procedure. The Social Security Act and relevant ministerial regulations set out the framework, but the application of that framework to an individual's circumstances requires careful reading and experience with how the relevant bodies — the Social Security Office, employer pension funds, and where applicable the courts — actually handle claims in practice.

Our work at Thida Niti is built around this specificity. We do not handle a broad portfolio of legal matters; we work within pension protection because that is where our knowledge is deepest. When a client comes to us, whether for an initial overview or for full representation in a dispute, they are drawing on professional experience that is concentrated and current.

The clients who benefit most from our services are individuals approaching or in retirement who have questions about their entitlements; people whose pension claims have been declined or delayed; and those who need assistance presenting their position clearly and compellingly to a pension fund or the Social Security Office. We also assist those dealing with pension matters arising from the death of a partner or family member.

We are proud to be a Phuket practice. Being locally based means we are present for in-person meetings, familiar with the local institutions and their processes, and available to accompany clients to hearings or appointments when that is helpful. We regard our geographic focus as a strength — it means our relationships with the relevant local offices are well established, and our understanding of regional patterns in how claims are handled is current and grounded in experience.
