Frequently Asked Questions
If you do not see your question here, please reach out — we are happy to clarify anything before you decide to proceed.
What does a pension overview consultation involve?
We review your current pension situation — which schemes or funds are involved, what entitlements may apply, and what options are open to you. The session runs at a comfortable pace and ends with a written summary so you have something to refer back to. No commitment to further action is required.
How long does a pension claim process typically take in Thailand?
The timeline varies depending on which scheme is involved, whether the claim is straightforward or contested, and how responsive the relevant institution is. Many claims are resolved within two to four months; some more complex matters take longer. We will give you a realistic timeframe once we understand the specifics of your situation.
What if I am not certain I have a valid claim?
That is precisely what the initial consultation is for. Many people come to us uncertain whether they have grounds to act. We review the position honestly and explain what we find — including if the position suggests that a claim is not well-founded. We believe a candid assessment serves clients better than encouragement without basis.
Will you charge me before I decide whether to proceed?
The initial consultation is priced at ฿4,200 and includes the written summary. At that point you can decide whether to continue to claim preparation or full representation. Each subsequent stage is priced and agreed before any work begins — so there is always a clear moment of decision before further costs arise.
Is my personal information handled with discretion?
Yes. All client information is handled in strict confidence. Documents and correspondence are stored securely and not shared with any third party except where required to advance your matter or where we are legally obliged to do so. We take our confidentiality obligations seriously.
Can I meet with you in person at your Phuket office?
Yes. Our office is at 21 Thalang Road, Talat Yai, Phuket. We are available for in-person meetings Monday through Friday. We also accommodate consultations by telephone or video call where an in-person visit is not convenient. Please contact us in advance to arrange a time.
